When it was time to update their outdated and inefficient boiler system, an industrial customer approached Custom Thermal Applications to engineer a well-designed solution that would meet their needs now and into the future.
As experts in the field, we assessed their application and recommended installing three direct fired water heating systems, which would supply them with the large volume of hot water they needed while reducing their overall energy and operating expenses.
The two QS 3500 systems operate from a 50°F cold water inlet and supply water heated to 160° on-demand. One features an integrated storage tank, while the other was customized for use with an external 700 gallon storage tank. The single QS 2500 system also features an integrated storage tank and supplies water heated to 140°F. Both systems are fueled by natural gas and operate with discharge pressure of 60 psi. Offering up to 99% thermal efficiency, these systems are built from stainless steel for a long service life, require very little maintenance, and occupy a very small footprint.
